I've spent about 3 hours on trying to find the issue with the "2 point jump" issue.  If you see a scenario where your team or the other team gains 2 points rather than one please post details here.

I've found an easy way to see if a double point happens in a game: total the scores for both teams and compare with total serves of both teams. There was a difference of 2 in the above game.

Found two things in common with all 4:

All involve set 3 but what is likely is that all involve the RS attacking. 

Three have blockswhich get reported twice.

One has a blocker error which I believe is actually a kill but as it's a double involving blockers this gives 2 kills.

Quincy vs Pekin Set 3 RS blocked. 2 points to PPP

One more for luck.

Quincy Carlsbad a few weeks ago.

Quincy Set 3 RS attacks BE in the net scored twice for Quincy.

I'll keep looking and will only mention it if other than a set 3 or RS.

Something else in common:

So far it's always Dig followed by SET 3 followed by RS attack and either 2 blocks or 2 BE.

Not common is the Dig rating nor the Setter (my L and S both set above).:

Other things I've spotted.

It doesn't matter if the RS is front row or back row.

The dig rating (which I believe is the same as the set rating in determining the number of blockers) doesn't correlate to who blocks. That is a Dig 3 can have the same blocker twice or different blockers and so can a Dig 2.

The report only ever reports one blocker when it is multiple. The viewer does report multiple blockers.

A big thanks to all of the analysis from Steve here.  I think I have solved the +2 point issue for this weekend.  We will need to verify!

I went through every game from June 11th and compared total serves with total points and found no errors.

Actually I did MOD 5 (I think) just adding up units.

Thanks Steve!!  Please let me know if there are any you've found that I haven't addressed yet.

So in this game I picked at random the set scores were.

Ignore the 25's and the 20 as these give 0. The 6 and 4 of 26+24 also gives 0 so that leaves 6 plus 1 = 7 -> 2 Quicker in my head than trying to add up the numbers to 182.

And the total serves were 91 for each side -> 2 

So no 2 pointers here. Or 5 but I never saw more than 2 in a game. 

Ot took about 15 minutes to check every game.

It's a SET 2 so two blockers. The viewer shows both  but the report only has one. In this case the MB. I think the other is the RS.

This time a SET 1. Here only the OH shown. MB and RS missing.

I haven't found a correlation between which blocker is shown and the attacker or positions at the net. All I know is that it isn't always the MB in two man blocks nor the OH on three man blocks. 

As far as I checked the running box score always had the correct numbers.
