Roy is building an elite team.  But they will not be Elite next season at libero unless something changes.  This is the missing link for the Red Pandas.  Without this selection (presumably at a 2000 RP premium) Goodwill Hunting's Ben Afleck might call Nashville "suspect"...

Max Def is great but with other 5 star liberos available in later sessions is it worth even 1000+

Roy is correct - I'm not going overboard and there are other Liberos including the same session. And definitely not worth 1000 RP - Liberos have the lowest minimum price for a reason.

Baton Rouge spent 1701 RP for a max +2 set Setter in season 2.

In recent times the highest, and 2nd over all, was your 1562 RP Roy in season 6.

Well Roy got his Libero for a decent price and was willing to pay a lot more. But I got mine for a lot less and he could end up better - he won't be better but could be.

I was in three minds with this. When it was just the two of us it just a matter of who was willing to go higher. But I saw the 2nd 5* with only Dallas and another showing interest. I could out bid Dallas and be happy with that price so paid the 100 RP for a visit. 

And then Christer popped up on both lots as did Amy and Kelsey. Now it was getting complicated. At the last minute I decided to withdraw the visit but it was just too late. So I set my maximum spend and bid 1008 on the max DEF and 808 on the other.

And then I had a change of heart. The problem with my Liberos is that they don't have a gap between ages - this has been like that since season  2 when I took over. While this is great when they are Sr and Jr  it's a pain at Fr and So. Both are weak and cost a lot of CP. So I decide I'm not that bothered in getting a Libero this season and lower my bids - and still get him.

Two plusses however - John had won an earlier lot which allowed me to get my Libero cheap. And he hasn't got enough RP next round to bid on the 4* max atk OH who I'll get for minimum price.
