This shows we need to work on our back line.

Love the changes Al.  On the roster and updated Stats pages, is there a way to still show the overall score and grade? Being able to make that comparison would help me better understand the difference FIT makes.  And if we could filter by Conference (like we can by Division in United) that would be even better...😎

New Stats pages look great.  The number of Pekin players doing well compared to the overall team performance clearly shows the need to sack the Coach....

Fit +1 simply adds 5.5 points to the overall grade for all positions. 

Roger: I added a note to the bottom of the teams page to reflect what Steve said.  Essentially he is (of course) right.  We modeled this out in testing when I showed/confirmed w/Steve all the decimals.  +1 FIT is a +5.5 difference in effective overall.

Does that work okay?  Since its a constant I don't want to overload that section/columns of the page unless it is meaningful.

I've updated the Player/Team differentiation on the page so now you can click and get to those easier:

Click "Player" or "Team" and it will show the stats for the already selected session.  You can then select a different session if you want.

I'll take a look at conference next.  I'm not sure if I can easily do it like the Player/Team setup or make it more of an adhoc report.  I'll try some things later in the week.  I've got some ideas though...more to come...

I think it's a similar thing to what happens on SESL. There's a Features button and a tap just reloads the page on my phone. Tap and hold and an option to open in a new page is there and that works.

Similar thing here but I don't need to load in a new page. All other tabs work such as the rankings ones and team of the week ones.

Al or Steve, you've probably already answered this before, so I apologize, but does the Match Preview incorporate FIT and Home Advantage?

I do like being able to look at an opponent's roster and see their effective grade. Helps with my own lineup.

Yes it does, Mike. Effective grade used to only show in the match preview.

I also look at the opponent's roster - if their best RS is C and mine are A and B then I know I can play the weaker especially if stronger elsewhere. But before the upgrade the preview would only show the better player.

Sorry, the preview still only shows the better RS but the team page shows the effect of FIT now.

I updated the notes at the bottom of the match report preview to indicate:

The effective overall and effective grades INCLUDE BOTH FIT and HOME COURT additions.

The note was a little confusing before and mentioned the "old" home court approach from a few seasons ago (which was a reduction for away teams).  

The Roger code has been created.  😎

Conference filtering has been added to this new stats page.  Example here:

It took some time to get all the permutations behaving (like clicking a session or player/team or TMVL/conf), but I think that part is all working.  Let me know if something blanks out when you do a certain click/scenario.

I noticed that the team stats per set are wrong.  Players should be fine.  I think I just need to update my query to calculate certain stats per set at the team filter (assists, blocks, aces, digs).

More on that later this week.

I resolved the issue on team "things" per set.  That should be working now.

In the above pic Team and SEC are in blue, the rest grey. When I first go the the page it's Player and TMVL in blue.

Tap on "Team" and there's a blue background flash on Player as if I'd tapped that and Player reloads.

Tap on "TMVL" and Team flashes blue and Team loads 

I think if I have managed to get Big 8 open then tapping on say SEC just causes Team to flash and open. But if I tap on Big 8 then it sort of freezes and then I can tap on another conference. I'll try and send screenshots tonight and try Jacob's Tablet to see if it's an android problem or screensize problem.

It works fine on this tablet but as I have both open.

At the Player/TMVL page:

tap on Team or BIG EAST and Player/TMVL reloads, tap on TMVL, PAC 8, or SEC and Team/TMVL loads, tap on BIG 8 and something odd happens (I'll send screenshot) and then I can select the conference I want.

The only way to select another conference is to tap BIG 8 first.

And while in a conference BIG EAST acts like a home sending me back to the TMVL page.

Al, the Roger Code looks absolutely brilliant and is really useful data. 👏 Sounds like it was a hell of a lot of work for you. So here's the funny thing. You're going to laugh (I hope). The stats I was hoping you could do a Conference breakdown for were the old ones - T7, T14, RPs, etc 😁
