I don't know if anyone noticed, but the WGM Cup was seeded so that each group contains one team from each conference. It was an idea forged at a late stage but this should increase the diversity of your opponents over the course of the season - not sure if this was placed in the rule set but do you all think it's worth continuing?

I thought it was a good idea, John, and not hard to implement.
Some teams have 9 different opponents in the WGM and noncon combined. A couple I checked had 8 different teams. I think next season there's a 42% chance of 9 different opponents. I think this is a good thing.
To borrow from the World Cup draw theme, I added the image of a pot. Specifically this is a Maya Drinking Cup/Pot for Cacao.
Great idea from John on this one team per conference setup and I'm glad we did it this way.
I'll add some code (for future seasons) to allow for a "live" (like I hoped to do this season) and an "automated cup draw".
I think this is a good thing, I definitely like the idea of having such a variety of opponents.
like the bowl design aswell as the idea of getting the chance to play more different opponents
