So I have this idea that once you've set your 6 players there is one or two rotations that are weak. It could simply be your worst MB at the net with poor OH and RS/S as an example.

The idea was to try and predict Roger's lineup, decide when it was at its weakest and have my best server innthe #1 spot for the 1st, 3rd and 5th sets hoping ti get a run of points on serve.

This actually happened in the Dallas game where Karter White scored 8 consecutive service points though this was partly due to Craig playing a weak team. Of those 8 points, 3 were aces, 4 were returned digs and 1 was a 3 man block. Karter was our second best server and the lineup from the Dallas side was ideal.

Unfortunately, even though I guessed correctly, it didn't work. With Payne serving we didn't get a good run on points and, as he served #5, sets finished when he'd only had 2 turns of serving whereas weaker servers had 3.

I won't be trying that again.
