Mt St Helens Sasquatches? Although I am tempted to suggest the Boring Sasquatches a place just outside Portland that houses the North American Bigfoot Centre

Been to Spokane several times as my aunt lived there. Sasquatches would fit right in.

Nickname could use an upgrade to "smirking sasquatches."

Is this the East Coast Portland that is the Saquatches? I voted for "Spokane", but Portsmouth would work, too. Not too different, but different enough to avoid confusion.

No need to change it, I think

I like the idea of the Walla Walla Sasquatches. Maybe if Ben likes playing he can get his dad to take Walla Walla.

I do not like Sasquatches, and here is why. When I was little, there was a documentary on TV about people who claimed to see Bigfoot. I watched it and there was one scene that they re-enacted.  I don't recall if clearly, but here is what I remember. A couple was sitting on a couch in front of a large picture window with sheer curtains. As they are watching TV, you see an enormoius Bigfoot shadow behibnd them outside on their front porch. One of them thinks they saw something out of the corner of their eye and goes to the door. When they opened it....there was nothing there.

Fast forward about 6-8 years when I was in my teens. I am visiting my neice in another town and we are hanging out with her friends who I had just met, The TV was on, but we werent' really watching it. After a while I notice that it is on that very show and I begged someone to change the channel or turn if off. Then I realized what a stupid dork I was and was really embarrassed. 

Went with Spokane because it sounded good, but now that I think about it maybe that's not the best. There's no forests where a Sasquatch would live out in that part of the state. They would...I mean they DO definitely live on the west side of the Cascades.

I thought Spokane was right on the edge of the forests to the north and east of town? Squatch could hang out there.

Looking at a map looks like you're right John. I guess anytime I drive east the Palouse seems so endless that it's all I remember. I guess the question whoever our sasquatch expert here is has to answer then is: how much rainfall do Sasquatches prefer? That will answer which forests we'll find them in.

We still have two Portlands. Since we've got a tie, we're probably going to have to look at the TMVL rules, sadly there's an arcane rule which states that any ties in votes for team names will be resolved by naming the team the Kirksville Sombreros >:(

You cant beat Snohomish. I know people from there and I thought they were making up the name of the county. Still do.
