I've just been tweaking my orders, especially the coaching. You probably all know this but I didn't until it dawned on me today.
Next week's coaching won't impact this season but next, so any RSD that are 1 off completing can be done using XP.
Upcoming superstar Wyatt Robinson is on 2/3 for Attack and has 54 XP (a few more as he gains 1 per set - time to check others). It seems to me that I'm better off (long term) not coaching him for Attack but one of the other 1/3 or 0/3 abilities. Especially as you can only XP once per ability.

I think we are all getting used to this new feature. Your approach is the same one I'm taking.
Will there be an opportunity to carry XP over to the next season? For example, I have FR David Wright that has 60 XP. Based on *this* session, I can only spend a maximum 23. Be a shame to waste those 37 XP...
This was setup as a use or lose scenario. Part of the problem for all of us is just getting the visibility I think on what XPs each player had (which I didn't put in until the past week or so). So that was my fault there for not having that in sooner.
I think we'll get better at this next season where we can plan ahead and spot the skills to use those XPs on (rather than CP) and it should be less of a concern then.
Also, please allow me to let me be very clear...this is probably not an "Al against David Wright" type situation...
