As always, if you need a hand with how to build your team and what things to consider, please ask.  I may need to start relying on certain other managers to fill that request with their excellent team managament!  

My Mistakes

Never let Max's teammates be in your conference!  We were knocked off this week by Mr. Ben Schultz and his Lumberjacks.  All sets were 25-23 and we came up on the short end of three of them.  Congratulations Ben!

Stat of the Week

There are a lot of close matches with similar team grades, however there was one stat that stood out to me in close matches this week:  DIGS.

We played well against the Lumberjacks for example, but lost in digs 33-25.  Digs are based solely on the DEF skill.  EVERY time your team gets a dig it means:

1) The other team was attacking and going for a kill

2) Your defense (if they can't block it) have a chance to dig a hard attack

3) When they do it gives your team a change to go back on the offensive and set/attack a ball.

This is a game where all the skills add up to winning or losing a point, but this stat hit me as ALSO important along with attacking, setting, serving, etc.

New Rankings Draft
