Matt, your 3*L rolled poor. 3*S is excellent - for a 3*.

I think your 5* MB is very good. Max DEF for a MB is 9 - if you can afford the CP he'll be decent as the serving MB.

The OH? Well it couldn't be any worse.

Happy with my dice rolls! A season of development for the Raccoons. 

3-star OH - rolled below average (just) but was taken as a back-up in case my 4-star was poor

4-star OH - total 47 in the five that matter compared to an average 45 but the ATK of 8 is a big let down. I can only call him an average player

5-star MB - just above average but with ATK and BLK being the 11's and the DEF of 8 means I'm happy with this player

5-star RS - his 12 BLK was guaranteed but everything else is the worst it can be.

Overall - a mere D rating this season

A pretty decent set of dice rolls - definitely the best I've ever had. I've always loved Olmec ❤️

On the other hand, I also like complaining and that's been taken away from me (at least until the first set of results)

No complaints from the Twisters this time around! We recruited lightly -- Two 4 stars, one 3 star, and a walk on, spending just over 1000 RP in total. Here's how the came out:

SAMI GIANNAKOS - 4 STAR OH, MAX SRV, paid $370 - Sami comes in with high B+ potential. He rolled a 10 RCV to go with the 10 auto max SRV. ATK and DEF are both solid 9s.  An 8 BLK was the only low point. Very happy to welcome Sami, a bargain at $370 who rolled a 53 out of max 57, that's 93%.

WARREN LYONS - 3 STAR, MAX RCV, paid $270. Absolute bargain here with Warren. B potential on zero low rolls and max rolls at BLK, DEF and SET to go with the auto max at RCV.  Warren will be a super solid B for min bid. He rolled 96%, 49 out of a possible 51.

JOSEPH HUGHS - 4 STAR MB, paid $440.  Very solid 4 star, potential B+. Rolled 35 of 41, 85%. Max 10 BLK to go with 9s at SRV and ATK. Another bargain, we think.

AIDEN GREEN - WALK ON RS, paid $0. Tops out a B-, no maxes in useful skills. We hear he's a great teammate and bench cheerleader, though. 

The Squatches got some rough rolls, salvaged by our new MB and getting three recruits with one max or max-plus skill. Here's the rundown:

Bongiovanni,  S -- 3* max+2 SRV. Rolled 11-8-7-7-7. With the exception of the max-plus serve, this couldn't have been worse. The 7 setting skill is a dagger. 

Yochimochi OH -- 3*. Rolled 7-7-7-8-7-6. The 8 ATK is OK, and he got the highest possible SET skill for being a 3*, but that skill is pretty useless for an OH.

Mariani RS -- 4* max+2 ATK. Rolled 8-8-12-9. The ATK skill is outstanding, and the DEF is also a max. So overall a decent result.

Trummer MB -- 4* max BLK 10-10-9-4. Max SRV, max BLK, solid ATK. The DEF needs work, but this is unequivocally a good roll.

I have no idea if we got good, middling or poor roles. I'm happy with everyone being above a B, but should I have hoped for better?

The Winged Hogs had a mixed bad.

First the bad.  The 4* MB with +1 SRV, rolled minumum at BLK, ATK and DEF.  Not ideal and I had such hopes for at least one 10!

The OH 5* rolled 3 max and 2 minimum.  But the minimum was ATK and SRV, so not bad but just an ok.

The 3* RS, averaged out at 8, and the good news was that ATK was a maximum 9.  So an ok.

The 5* libero had 2 x 11s, 1 x 10 and mid range for set.  So slightly better than ok, let's call that one as good if not exceptional.

The Angry Wolves can't complain too much.

Could have been a lot worse.

Our key recruit, 5* MB, came out with 2 11s, so we're happy there.  The backup 4* had no max, so a meh recruit.
At OH, 4*, two max, in RCV & ATK even, so I'm very pleased with his potential.
The 3* walkon at RS wasn't going to be developed much anyway, so the utter minimum stats to start doesn't hurt much.
Really more concerned with the minimum stats on the 4* L. We were hoping for a solid T7 addition and didn't get it. Probably have to recruit a L again this season and change around my plans so we're not an offense-only team in 2-3 seasons.
2 good recruits for their potential, 1 midling pickup, 2 lousy rolling recruits. .500 only makes the all-star game in MLB.  Back to the recruiting board...

I have to think that overall, my Freshmen aren't terrible. No potential "A" ratings in the future, but 3/5 B+s, so that's not bad.

Gonzales will get plenty of action at S as he has the highest ceiling at the position in the squad. 

Haynes looks like he could end up being a pretty good star for the team as long as we can get him the training needed. 

Bishop will probably end up fetching water for the team. 

McCullough could have been better. RS has long been a weak spot for the Fish.

Beattie will continue the trend of strength at MB for the Anglers. 

I'll be curious for Mr. Turner's analysis of our Yoots. 

Looks like our recruits were all pretty average, but no outright disasters at least. I was hoping for a bit better rolls for the 5 star Libero, but at least he already had a fixed max plus 1 serve.
