Gentlemen,
It is time to put your hat in the ring. Al and I hope to have our first World Cup ready to start mid-august (World Cup 48). This is not the time to select your favorite nation; this is the time to let me know if you want to participate and manage a national team.The competition will be made up of seven, one-game match days:
1. Group stage, game one
2. Group stage, game two
3. Group stage, game three
4. Round 2
5. Quarterfinals
6. Semifinals
7. Final and Third Place matches
I don't yet have a set number of days between matches. I expect the commitement will be around three weeks during the off-season for U1 and U2.
We don't need 32 managers (that would be great), but clearly the more the merrier with this group.

That line about 32 managers didn't come out the way I meant it too. What I should have said is, "I hope for 32 managers to participate, but the NMR code will run any teams if necessary."

Food? I like food! When will lunch be served? Or is it perhaps a buffet? Or better than that might it be brunch? Brunch is the best.

We currently have the 21 U1 managers who posted Yes, and another three from U2 (Jason Halpin, Michael Jaffe and David Morgan).
As Al said in his email, the deadline to join the fun is Friday 5 July. After that, open spots will be run by the NMR functionality.
