For the avoidance of doubt that was in the 'like' column, and was a reference to all the helpful advice provided.
I do also like the fact that when you have to clarify your ill thought through posts, you gain another 5k
This is becoming like a John Holden post Roger. "Hey did I get 5k more for the clarification on the clarification"... :-)
On the positive side at least no puns were posted...
I must admit I did think that as I was posting Al.
To avoid this post becoming a completely mercenary response aswell, let me add a few thoughts too.
Absolutely love that U1, and Olmec in general, feels as much like an online community as a game - and the pun twins (John and Phil) often make me laugh out loud.
As for the game itself, I like that all the data is in the public domain. I'm not one for getting into the detail myself but even a brief look at what others are doing is enough to get a feel for the strategic and tactical richness of the options available - and the brilliance of others. On which note, I'm looking forward to seeing how Alon escapes relegation this year (and probably wins something) despite one of the worst T-11s in the league.
Nothing I've come to hate so far.
It's always interesting, promotion from division 3 followed by relegation from division 2 the season after.
That's this season.
2. Vale survived relegation last year. That's a start.
3. None of the teams in the league are nicknamed Hatters, and hat talk has been few and far between.
To clarify #3, TMVL has a lot of hat-related banter. MSWL-1 only has knee-related banter, and even then that banter is structurally weak, so it'll probably die out in a bit.
Is the knee or banter that is structurally weak ?

Hates : Al being nice to people , Completely unfair defeats , Youth cup predictability (see post in just one thing)
Loves : Al's "friendly" banter, Completely unfair victories , Al calling out managers, Manger interaction/comments , Al stoking the flames , Setup /Order interface , Al picking on people , that's enough for now, well apart from Al subtlety highlighting glaring weaknesses in some managers rosters.
Loves. Biding in the auction. Even better than the games.
Hates. Losing in the auction. Even more than losing the games.
Loves - Playing not just against my family but also against people who have become virtual friends.

Loves the league... the game... the community and virtual friendships... the elusive chase for trophies and a winning formula.
Hates... that Olmec has it out for me.
Is this a suggested improvements thread? If so:
It would be good to get an email if my team has a trade offer made, accepted or rejected.
It might also be good to get emails when someone comments on one of my matches. Maybe that's down to personal preference and might get a bit much, not sure? So perhaps for that just an easier way to see if there's been a comment on the site?
James: I will try not to be so nice and call out managers more and instigating! ?
I-Man: This may just be me, but I feel like getting another email will just make me want to delete it.
What about a page to show the latest sections of the site where people have commented on your team or something like that?
I've found email tough to "ensure" I get it to you all and has a lot of overhead when automated with all the elements out there to block email. It has mostly become a frustration to do. But we could do something where I have a section like the dashboard that shows "3 new comments" or something where you can click a page and see what kind and generous comments I've made about PNE...
If you write more lines on this post talking about how I hate United because Allan always fixes the results against me, do we get paid more I wonder?, I love seeing Ian crying and I love seeing tranmere always throw round one of the Fa cup?
The simple answer no you don't, 5k for this response and 5k for long winded drivel ?

Good points on the emails. Yes, just an easy way to see at a glance where there have been developments, so maybe a section where we can see that.
It feels like especially with match comments there's the initial ones in the few hours after the games and then people stop checking back. Perhaps that's just down to the quality of the comments, I mean, there's only so many times we can see "Brentford were 5 goal underdogs, but somehow we won today" or "Lewes are rebuilding, today we got lucky"
Or the other perennial favourite "never bet against Kevin Martin on a Saturday"
You have got to love MSWL1 every time you win a game againt Lewes. It really makes my saturday night couple with a caprese pizza from carrefour and washed down with a bottle of cava!
That's not an easy thing to do when Dave has saved his GPPs for your team.
That's another idea for an improvement. A leader board of "GPP victims" overall, as well as something to show who certain individuals save their GPPs for?
