How difficult was it for Alon Atie's Tranmere Rovers to have a 5+ season first place finishes in Division 1? Fellow MEDITECHer and favorite opponent Brian Beerman has his Brighton Hove & Albion team demolishing the competition this season. Three HUGE wins on the road vs. Tranmere, Cardiff and Crewe with a combined 15-2 goals scored to goals allowed! In Tranmere's 1st season (Season 3) finishing 1st in Division 1 not only did he post a 14-3-1 record with 58/18 GF/GA (GD = 40!) but he also was the AP Cup Champion and the FA Shield Runner-Up! Only the FA Cup has alluded Alon thus far. BHA is presently 9-0-1 however must face the double bill of Lewes and PNE this coming week. Also looming at the end of the season are games against the Boss (not Bruce Sringsteen but his real boss not to mention having to face the motley Crewe the same week), Watford and QPR (the only team to beat BHA in league play so far). That's just the difficulty for this season. Despite what Brian B. has said off the record, he IS built for the future with an Age I SL 16 Gk along with 4 Age I SL 15 capable position players. So far the RSD for those players are 3,3, 2 and 2. This team keeps winning but it is going to take continual winning to get those players to fulfill maximum potential. Brian, you may not "be" Tranmere's Alon but I think if you continue on your winning ways you can definitely let out a "Whooooooooooooooooo!".
