Surely the correect question is who is the second best coach of the year.  After all each manager views themself as the best

Had I known Mr Stretch would shamefully vote for himself, I might have cast my ballot elsewhere (Her Kommissar).

To me coach of the year should be based on the manager that had minimal expectations entering the season and steered his team to great success (promotion and/or won a cup). According to Kevin's pre- season predictions, Leeds had 25:1 odds of promotion and wasn't noted as a promotion candidate.  Good job Abe!

I think Al Sellers deserves the session 8 coach of the year award. He inherited a pretty bad team and turned it into a very competitive one. Looking at this team's roster, it looks like it Dorchester will be doing some serious damage in Div2 next season.
