Time to experiment (Session 6)
Posted by Steve Turner on Monday, Oct. 14th, 2024 at 9:29 PM

Yes, I'm always trying new things so it's time to try some things out while we rebuild.

Can you hide a C rated ATKer with 2 A rated?

Will 3 A rated ATKers compensate for a C rated SETer?

Can 2 B rated MBs compensate for a D rated L?

#mindgames?

Readers Comments

Answer 1: no because Fletcher got more attacks than Brehme vs Denali. We were lucky to play a C- team.

Answer 2: don't know as Boyle had a C rated RS vs Denali.

Answer 3: only 1 dig from MBs and his swerving was poor. Lucky to play another C rated team.

Surely if his swerving was poor he was good at blocking?

James Tucker on Monday, Oct. 21st, 2024 at 7:58 PM

He did lead the team in blocks!

I can't even blame fat fingers on my phone as that was typed on the computer.

Rebuilding

Sigh

Craig Bucknall on Saturday, Nov. 2nd, 2024 at 2:44 PM

Yes, Craig - we're losing a big setter and Lubero the new guys are rubbish. The OH/MBs coming through are also not great. Next season will be a lean season  so hopefully rebuilding for season 15 onwards.

Sounds like some easy wins for CB over the Tomatoes coming up next season...
