OK with hindsight I probably should have gone harder on Arlington and given St Charles the game. Overall we were evenly matched with the Scarecrows but the scoreline suggests otherwise. In my post match comment I blamed our Setter but I've had a look at the details of some of the first set. Borkowski got a lot of excellent sets to the middle blocker or outside hitters, who with ATK 18 and 20 would be expected to get kills. However these were getting dug even my DEF 13 players.
Arlington was better despite playing the kids and the XP for them means they can miss games in the future.
Tuscon was a must win 3-0 and it took T7 to achieve that. But we're only the 7th seed and face Albuquerque next in the WGM. We've played the team several times before but never against Kelsey which will be nice.
Just to show how bad our team is - out Freshman RS is already the stronger of the two.

Eh, Fisher was a 3-star walk-on to start. We'd expect the 5-star freshman to overtake him sooner rather than later. Those of us who rightly fear the Round Red Ones would note that Steve already has a flourishing freshman RS who is playing like a Jr/Sr. I for one am not believing that the Tomatoes will turn into Tomatillos and finish in the bottom half of the league this year. At least with the 7th seed there's no way we can meet until the semis in the WGM.
