Well that was the worst session the Shrimps have ever played in TMVL. In fact three straight losses is my worst session across both MSWL and TMVVL leagues. We even managed to lose our home Conference game in the process. So we will have to learn from that to make sure it never happens again!

I suspect my urge to get my players fit was the main source of our problems. It was too expensive in terms of coaching points to raise all the important players fitness so a few senioe players were totally rested and this clearly weakened the line ups with too many freshmen playing from the off rather than easing them gradually into the team. The result was the team was weak and did not gel as not enough time yet playing with each other (hopefully the team are not exhausting themselves playing with each other though!). Even now the team is not fully fit but we can´t have another session like last time so the remaining players witl have to get a CP Fitness boost. We should finally be up to top fitness levels by S3 and can start concentrating on winning games and using our CP to raise our players long term skill levels. The catastrophic loss against Merrit may have put a permanent dent in our WGM Cup chances this year. Next up are WGM top spot outfit Mendon, followed by the Peas. It may well be we will be bottom of our WGM group this year. It is hard to know to whether give it one last shot in the game against Mendon or just concentrate on the conference games.
