🅾 PREDICTION: OLA 1 – 2 LEW   (LEW to win)
🏠 Home: Oldham Athletic AFC (+9 🏭 Groundsman) — DF:0 MF:0 FW:9
⚔️ KEY BATTLE: The forward line is the decisive battle — Lewes FC's attack (75) vastly outguns Oldham Athletic AFC's defence (42), giving the visitors a commanding edge in the final third.
ONES TO WATCH: Timothy James (GK, TL:17) — OLA | Samir Bouaziz (GK, TL:18) — LEW
🎯 VERDICT: Lewes FC are predicted to take this one 2-1 despite being away from home. Their forward line of 75 is too powerful for Oldham's defensive unit of 42, and even the home advantage groundsman boost of +9 to Oldham's forwards cannot fully compensate for that gulf in quality. Jose Pérez is the player to watch, with Lewes's attacking threat centred around his output up front.
RAY'S TAKE
OLA 1 - 2 LEW
Lewes are coming to Boundary Park and their front line is absolutely flying — that attack is something else tonight. Oldham's backline looks shaky to me, and I don't care what the home advantage gives us in terms of the groundsman's edge up front — if your defenders can't hold a line, you're done. Lewes nick this one, but mark my words, Oldham will make them work for every single yard.
MARCUS'S TAKE
OLA 1 - 2 LEW
Lewes arrive with a forward line that simply has too much threat for Oldham's defensive shape to contain, and that home advantage boost on the wings won't compensate for a midfield that's being overrun before the ball even reaches the penalty area. Bouaziz in goal gives Lewes a composed platform to absorb whatever Oldham manage to conjure, which historically isn't much. The Latics will get their consolation, naturally — they always do — but this one's already decided.

Match Notes

Dohminator parks the bus so deep he needs a satnav to find his own goal. Antoine better bring a tin opener.
~ Olmec Head Ray ~ Jun 13 (Blyth Spartans AFC)
happy to lend our fellow birds a tin opener for this game. Although we expect the Owls to have a handy beak.
~ Vick ~ Jun 18 (Weston-super-Mare AFC)
Hope to get back on track as the rebuild has hit a bit of a speed bump in league play.
~ Dave ~ Jun 19 (Lewes FC)
