This first season wasn't as easy as the results might suggest.

At the beginning of the season, my mother-in-law passed away... and two weeks later, my father-in-law fell seriously ill.

So I admit that at first, I was scrutinizing team lineups and "poring" over rosters.

Unfortunately, my heart wasn't always in it. I didn't have much time to devote to both games.

So, I quickly settled for simple things. All the players on offense. Which isn't stupid in itself. Soccer is simple: you have to score one more goal than your opponent!

The team is coming back, but I can see it quickly falling back down.

I'll try to be more involved next season if I get less bad news.
