Is this in they have wings? As I don't see any I'm not sure. And if so is it pronounced wing-ed?
Or as in they've been hurt slightly?
Or past tense of winge.

Just a headshot Steve, the beautiful wings to gain elevation to block shots are hidden.
Perhaps Winged (or Whinged?) is also right, especially when there is an occurence to bemoan bad luck?
Bad luck? It happens but it doesn't seem as bad as SESL or United.
There was a game last season where we won every stat including points scored but lost. Problem was we won 2 sets by 7 and 4 points but lost 3 by 2, 2 and 3 points.
On the other hand we won a game in similar circumstances (though we didn't lose every stat - we just got luckier
