🅾 PREDICTION: BOS 1 – 2 WIM (WIM to win)
🏠 Home: Boston United (+9 🏭 Groundsman) — DF:0 MF:2 FW:7
⚔️ KEY BATTLE: The forward line is the decisive battleground — AFC Wimbledon's attack (78) vastly outguns Boston United's defence (45), giving Wimbledon a clear and dangerous edge in the final third.
⭐ ONES TO WATCH: Reece Wilkinson (GK, TL:17) — BOS | Guillaume Hebert (GK, TL:18) — WIM
🎯 VERDICT: AFC Wimbledon should take this one on the road, despite Boston's home advantage of +9. The visitors' forward line (78) is simply too powerful for Boston's defensive unit (45) to contain consistently, and that gap is the defining factor in this match. Guillaume Hebert in goal for Wimbledon adds further security at the back, and his commanding presence will be decisive in keeping Boston's moderate attack (54) at bay.
MARVIN'S TAKE
BOS 1 - 2 WIM
Boston's Groundsman has furnished the forwards with a +7 pitch advantage, which sounds thrilling until you remember that AFC Wimbledon's attack simply appears more purposeful, and Guillaume Hebert in their goal looks like the kind of keeper who will make Reece Wilkinson feel quietly inadequate by comparison. I've run the full miserable calculation of midfields clashing meaninglessly in the York Street mud, and Javier Diaz simply doesn't have enough in him to turn the tide against Kenny Fitzgerald's greater energy. Boston will score, because everything must suffer equally, but Wimbledon leave with the points, and I feel nothing about this.
AXEL'S TAKE
BOS 1 - 2 WIM
Wimbledon are arriving at York Street with Ben Butcher looking absolutely ruthless up front, and I don't think Boston's defensive line has the steel to contain that threat tonight. The Groundsman's boosted the forward runs in Boston's half, but Wimbledon's attack is simply operating at a higher voltage right now. Boston will nick one, but this fortress gets breached — Wimbledon march away with the points.
