No steps forward (Session 11)
Posted by Ellis Simpson on Wednesday, May. 16th, 2018 at 5:24 AM

Oh dear, back in the relegation zone. A home draw and an away loss will do that to you.

On the positive side, we are 1 point from safety. (Originally I typed that as "pint" and was thinking it might be right, too. A pint of sweat needed!)

On the less positive side, we are 1 point from being in the bottom two.

Next session is the killer.

>>Bottom four are Swansea, Bristol, Chesterfield and Sheffield

>>Southend v Bristol, Chesterfield v Swansea, Watford v Sheffield

>>Bristol v Chesterfield, Swansea v Leeds, Sheffield v Brentford

Time to do or die!

Just realized that Chesterfield v Swansea is trouble for us, regardless of the result. A draw would be best. We need Leeds to hammer Swansea, and for us to beat Chesterfield. Chesterfield v Sheffield must be an away win!

I suspect you may not get your wish of a draw or for Swansea to be hammered by Leeds at home. It's an interesting life at the bottom.
