Session 7 (Session 11)
Posted by Ellis Simpson on Monday, Jan. 8th, 2018 at 4:13 AM

Ideally we would have secured a home win and an away draw. (Two wins was too ambitious.) But the counterattacking (ahem) style of play just could not get enough shots on goal against PNE, so we had to settle for a goalless draw at home. The QPR goalless draw away was a better result. But, at the end of the session, we had only secured two points and remain in deadly relegation trouble.

Next session, it's Watford (6th) and Nottingham Forest (8th), but both at home.  If we did well enough, the key game next session would be QPR v Lincoln. Assuming Tranmere dispose of QPR, that leaves Lincoln as the place QPR have to get points to put themselves out of our reach. In that case, we would be going down.

All to play for, unfortunately, because the task ahead is a big one.

Do your best Lincoln!
