About Those Deceptive Appearances (Session 10)
Posted by Ellis Simpson on Wednesday, Apr. 18th, 2018 at 6:01 AM

Now things are looking much better! Of course, this division is very tight, and the whole pecking order could be reversed after this session, apart from Chesterfield and Plymouth. Both need to start getting some points on the board.

We have a home game against Leeds and an away game against Chesterfield.

Chesterfield, as indicated above, will be looking to kick start their season now.

Leeds are battling to get away from the relegation zone, looking for a top three place finish, so that will be a crunch fixture, for sure.

Finishing off with some regret, that damn loss in the Alan Parr Cup to Crewe. We got everything right - restricting them to 6 measly shots - but not the right score. As always in this game, the margin between success and failure is narrow. And Olmec is very happy to put us on the wrong side of the margin too often.
