Four Point Session (Session 11)
Posted by Ellis Simpson on Sunday, Dec. 30th, 2018 at 6:22 AM

Two home games, but with no other outlet for our youth squad players, there's always that weakening of the team.

The win was against Southend, thanks to their hardness (finally) generating a penalty in our favor. The draw as in a game against Lincoln that had 0-0 written all over it, but both teams managed to squeeze in one surprise goal from half a dozen attacks. Close!

At the end of the session we are in a hell of a pack of eight teams separated by six points. (We are sixth in the table.) Lincoln are holding on to the third promotion slot, and Southend have managed to kick their way down into the relegation zone.

With things so tight, one result could turn everyting upside down.

Next session we face Dagenham and Redbridge away, then Port Vale at home. D&R are in 9th position, and looking a wee bit out of it. But it's an away game. Port Vale are in 4th, one point ahead of us.

All to play for!
